Brand & Print Design Process
STEP 1: EXPLORATION
Once you’ve hired me, it’s time to explore your existing look and assets. We’ll discuss your vision for the future, with the
help of worksheets and an in-depth creative brief to ensure I know exactly where we’re heading. With your input, I’ll
begin to curate a creative direction tailored to your personal story and style. Our goals for this phase: Clarity. Alignment. Understanding
STEP 2: LOOK & FEEL
The design begins! Now it’s time for you to sit back, relax, and let me take the driver’s seat. In this phase, I’ll begin
crafting your identity, assessing your brand messaging and designing your site -- all based on the plan we carefully
plotted in Phase 1. Our goals for this phase: Interpret. Translate. Create
STEP 3: DESIGN
Finally, the fruit of our labors -- a design package perfectly suited to your needs. After the launch of your site, we’ll sit
down for a virtual tutorial so you can peek behind the curtain and learn how the back end of your site functions. Our goals for this phase: Present. Connect. Enjoy
STEP 4: PACKAGE
Once we’ve applied the final polish to your updated visual identity, I’ll supply all the files you need to share your brand’s
new face with the world, and you can sit back and enjoy as the compliments start rolling in! Our goals for this phase: Enjoy
STEP 1: CONSULTATION
We will start the conversation by discussing you, your business/vision and project overview. We will send a Media Kit with the packages we offer to review.
If a package doesn’t meet your needs, we can create you a custom package. If we’re a great fit and you would like to move forward, we will begin the booking process.
STEP 2: BOOKING
I will send an invoice and contract detailing our scope of work, payment schedule and expectations. Once the retainer (non-refundable) is received and the contract is signed, you are put into the design que. Typically, there is a short
wait-period until your project start date arrives. During this time, we will send you a Design Brief/ Questionnaire to start filling out.
STEP 3: DESIGN & EDIT
Your start date is here and we’re ready to go! As soon as the first part of your package is complete, We will send a Dropbox
Link for you to review and provide feedback.
Once feedback is provided, we will discuss the next steps and revisions will
begin. This step will be repeated and polished until you are fully satisfied.
STEP 4: DELIVER
Once your project is complete, I will prepare your final files for Delivery and Launch! If you wish to take your project
futher, we can implement your new branding/logo into a new website, collateral, social media, etc.
Custom Invitation Process
STEP 1: INITIAL CONSULTATION
During our initial meeting we want to get to know you. This is where we brainstorm ideas to create your invitation. We'll
chat about color palettes, themes, illustration, fonts, style etc. We have you flip through books to get a feel for what is
out there and what you might be interested in. We LOVE Visuals! Always feel free to bring in magazine cutouts, ribbons, photos of your venue, stickers, and paint swatches, anything that inspires you.
STEP 2: THE ESTIMATE
Once all the elements are in place we will send you a quote for your project depending on your quantity and design.
Once you approve of the pricing proposal a 50% deposit is required.
Once that’s out of the way that’s when the FUN begins.
STEP 3: DESIGN CONCEPTS
At our studio we will start designing your invitation based upon our meeting and discussions. These will be emailed to you in an electronic proof (PDF) format.
From there we will wait for your feedback before working on revisions. The more feedback, the BETTER!
STEP 4: REFINEMENT
Once you have narrowed down your invitation style, we tighten up the loose ends. We make sure all wording, language, color, font etc. is PERFECT. We will have you sign off on all files before we go to print.
Here you will get a very clear idea of how your invitation will look. You will see everything lay out exactly as it will go to print.
STEP 5: PRINTING
We work with the finest vendors in the stationery world to get your invitation just right. We at Chris P. are overseeing your invitation come to life. Typically printing will take 3-6 weeks so please be patient during this process. We hand assemble all your custom layers, envelopes etc. and affix the finest finishing’s.
Once your job is complete we will contact you for pick up or delivery.
